Bemidji State has advanced to the Frozen Four! As an result, The Hockey Show will change its schedule and add a show during the bye week this Friday at 5 p.m. on KBUN-AM 1450 (with replay Saturday at 9 a.m.). This show will feature the NCAA Frozen Four teleconference, with all four coaches, and a student-athlete from each school (BSU, Miami (OH), Boston University and Vermont).

We are looking into further guests at this time as well. Check back this Friday for an all new Hockey Show!

This week's show is now available:


This week, Scott Williams and Moose Richards are joined by Bemidji Mayor Richard Lehmann to discuss the start of construction of the Bemidji Regional Events Center, BSU head coach Tom Serratore, and Notre Dame head coach Jeff Jackson, as the Beavers and Irish are set to meet in the NCAA Midwest Regional in Grand Rapids, MI.

The Hockey Show airs an hour earlier than usual this week, at 4 p.m. Friday due to NCAA Basketball coverage, but will air at its usual time Saturday at 9 a.m.  If out of town, you can listen via College Hockey News.com, or the iTunes Music Store.

This week (an abbreviated version due to NCAA Basketball coverage) features post-game press conference comments from the CHA Championship game from Robert Morris coach Derrek Schooley, BSU coach Tom Serratore and BSU forward Matt Read.  We also catch up, as we always do WCHA Final Five weekend, with Conference Commissioner Bruce McLeod.  He covers the WCHA, officiating, the Final Five and expansion in an expanded segment.

This is the broadcast from Saturday night, 3/14 prior to the CHA Championship Game, won by Bemidji State 3-2 in overtime. Head coach of Robert Morris, Derrek Schooley and Bemidji State head coach Tom Serratore join Scott Williams, Moose Richards and former Beaver, Eric Monsrud to preview the Championship game.
