The final show of 2008 is now available:


Bemidji State hosts Alabama-Huntsville in their first home CHA action this weekend, and joining us on The Hockey Show are BSU Assistant Coach, Bert Gilling, and UAH Head Coach Danton Cole.

The Hockey Show will be on hiatus now until the home and home series with North Dakota January 2nd and 3rd.  Happy Holidays from Scott and Moose, and we'll see you in the New Year!

With the Beavers hosting an exhibition series vs. the University of Manitoba, The Hockey Show has decided to pack the Minnesota Broadcasters Association award winning program with guests this week.  Moose Richards speaks with BSU head coach Tom Serratore, then Scott Williams catches up with former Beaver great, and current Columbus Blue Jacket, Andrew Murray.  We also chat with Tommy Haines, the director of Pond Hockey, a new documentary releasing tomorrow (Sat. November 1st) on DVD.  And our final guest is Dan Dow - the President of the Bemidji Community Arena (BCA) Board, as the BCA will be holding their grand opening tomorrow (Sat. November 1st).  Quite a busy show!

This week is the final show of the 2007-08 season:


It's a huge show this week for the Frozen Four in Denver!  Earlier this week, Minnesota Governor, Tim Pawlenty signed the state bonding bill with $20 million for the Bemidji Regional Events Center, so we celebrate the fact BSU will have a new arena by having a record eight guests!  We start out with Beaver head coach Tom Serratore, and BSU Athletic Director Rick Goeb.  Then we turn to politics with Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who was in town this past Wednesday to sign the bonding bill, and Bemidji mayor Richard Lehman.  Finally, we turn our attention to the Frozen Four, and have the coaches of the two championship game teams, Jerry York of BC and Jeff Jackson of Notre Dame, plus the Eagles Mike Brennon and the Irish's Mark Van Guilder.  Now, that's a busy show...

Enjoy our extended hour and a half program Friday at 5 p.m., or the replay Saturday at 9 a.m. on KBUN-AM 1450 in Bemidji, and after that, enjoy the summer.  We'll see you again in October!
